The weather situation has unfortunately not improved; the rain has refused to stop its relentless assault. Therefore, we have had to cancel the hike to Pride Rock, that was supposed to be followed by the cook-out. However, we did not have time to despair; freezies and another movie did a great job with maintaining our spirits. We will be watching Spy Kids, in French, to enjoy the end of the day.
We’re hoping that the weather situation will improve tomorrow, but we are definitely refusing to let it prevent us from having as much fun as possible before the inevitable Friday departure. The campers are in high spirits; playing in the rain right before the movie has allowed them to release a good amount of excess energy.
